Hi, we’re Christianna and Matt!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We know your decision to consider adoption is filled with courage and love, and we deeply respect you for it.
Adoption is our first choice, and we are ready to provide a home where a child’s story is honored, their individuality embraced, and their future filled with abundant love and adventure. From the very beginning, we will share your courage and love with a child, and as much of your story as you wish.
We met in 2015 while working at the same hotel in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and quickly discovered a shared love for adventure and community. After marrying in 2018 and spending time in Arizona and Nebraska, we returned to Kalamazoo in 2020, where we’ve built a life full of joy, friendship, and connection.
Christianna is creative, compassionate, and resilient, a natural nurturer who lifts up everyone around her. She is currently earning a degree in Liberal Arts and hopes to go into education. In her free time, she enjoys performing improv comedy and writing.
Matt is gentle, steady, and fun, with a gift for making others feel safe and valued. In his work in automotive sales, he is known for his honesty and integrity, always making sure people feel cared for. He loves staying active and playing sports like volleyball and baseball.
We enjoy traveling in the U.S., exploring everything our community offers, and spending time with friends and their children. In everything we do, we work as a team and are truly each other’s greatest supporters. Together, we will give a child a life filled with joy and unconditional love, no matter their race, religion, or sexuality.
Our home is colorful, art-filled, and located in a safe, welcoming neighborhood with plenty of space to play and explore. We share it with our gentle 10-year-old Great Dane/Mastiff mix, Oakley, who loves being around people. Kalamazoo itself is vibrant and diverse, with excellent schools and a unique program that provides fully paid tuition to any Michigan college for students who attend school here.
Family, to us, means more than genetics. We’ve built a wide network of supportive friends across the country, many of whom are part of the adoption community. This means a child will grow up surrounded by people who celebrate and support their story.
Thank you again for getting to know us. We wish you the very best on your journey!
