Hello! We’re Jenny and Emrae. We want to thank you for taking the time to read about us.
Please know that we hold you in our hearts with deep respect and gratitude, we see your love
and courage in making this decision.
Becoming parents has been a dream in our hearts for as long as we can remember. We have
been together since 2019 after meeting online. On our first date meeting for ice cream we
received a fun sign we were meant for each other, as we both drove stick shift Ford Focuses.
Emrae is the heart and soul of our home. He cares for our dogs with devotion and keeps our
home warm and welcoming. He works as a Manufacturing Engineer and is very smart and
thoughtful. Growing up he played hockey where he learned teamwork, perseverance and
dedication. He likes to cut and dry wood in his freetime, to be able to build tables and other
functional items. Emrae’s parents live nearby along with his two brothers, two nephews and
niece. We often gather with them for dinners, celebrations and family outings.
Jenny is compassionate, trustworthy and a deeply caring person. She brings love and support
to everyone around her. She works as a Creative Project Manager, but also holds two degrees,
one in Mechanical Engineering and one in Fine Art Photography. She enjoys staying active,
being in nature and giving back through various volunteer opportunities including the Red
Cross, delivering meals, and being a camp counselor. Jenny’s parents live in Charlotte, NC. We
stay closely connected through frequent visits, calls and FaceTime, sharing milestones and
everyday moments.
Together as a family, we enjoy playing games, watching sports, spending time outside, walking
our dogs or the small silly moments of everyday life, we always try to keep joy at the center of
our home. Our home is a place where everyone is welcomed and embraced just as they are.
We value learning from one another and the world around us. Honesty, empathy, responsibility,
education, respect and open-mindedness are the roots of our home. We know that life brings
challenges, but we are committed to facing them together as a team. We are ready to open our
hearts and home to a child and are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to become parents
through adoption.
We are open to building a relationship with you in whatever way feels right. We understand
openness looks different for every adoption, but we are committed to approaching it with
flexibility, honesty and care. You will always be a part of the child’s story and we will speak of
you with respect, gratitude and love.
