Hi there! We are Jeff, Courtney, and Nolan!
We are beyond grateful you’re here and would love the opportunity to introduce ourselves a little more.
We met in 2011 and have been growing together ever since. Through career changes, two homes, the birth of our son, and growing deeper roots in our faith, we have experienced some of the most joyous times together. Our son, Nolan, was born in 2019 and has been the joy of our lives ever since. With a hope of growing our family naturally, we faced secondary infertility and pregnancy loss. While the journey to a larger family felt hindered, we are so blessed to have found the path of adoption.
Jeff is hardworking, adventurous, and tenderhearted. He continues to grow in his faith through bible study and serving in the children’s ministry at church. He continuously challenges himself with long distance running and has an eye for landscaping projects.
Courtney is caring, quick-witted, and supportive. She regularly serves on the medical team at church and aids those with physical or mental restrictions during the worship services. If not adventuring with Jeff and Nolan, she can be found cooking, reading, or playing with the dogs.
Nolan is imaginative, outgoing, and joyful. He’s a great help in the kitchen, is always up for playing outside, and gives the best cuddles when we read our bedtime books.
Jeff works in the Auto Body industry, while Courtney stays at home during the day, alongside working a couple nights a week at a local restaurant. Both career settings offer scheduling flexibility and ample vacation time. In the warmer months, you will find us camping, on the boat with family, riding bikes, or having a cookout with friends. In the cooler months, we aim to continue our adventures by playing pond hockey, sledding, or having a movie night.
We reside in a quiet community just outside of Grand Rapids with endless options for schooling, extracurricular activities, personal growth, and adventure. We have an abundance of family and friends within a 10-mile radius of our home, which leads to many gatherings and play dates for all the children. While loud and chaotic, we thoroughly enjoy the laughter, memories, and growing relationships.
We are very excited to add another child to our family, and Nolan couldn’t be more excited to take on his new role as a big brother!
