Jeff & Sara

Hello! We are Jeff and Sara. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We are Jeff and Sara, and our story began in the summer of 2015 in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.

We met at church, where Jeff arrived a few minutes late and happened to catch Sara’s eye. After church, we started kicking around a soccer ball and quickly became friends. Before long, we were talking every day, and our friendship grew into something more. A few months later, Jeff asked Sara to be his girlfriend with a scrapbook, and about eight months after that, he proposed on a beach in South Carolina. We were married in the summer of 2016.

Our relationship with Jesus is the foundation of both our individual lives and our marriage. We were each raised in families where faith and church community were important, and during college we each made the personal decision to follow Jesus. Our journey to parenthood hasn’t looked the way we once imagined, but it has strengthened our faith and deepened our trust in God’s plan.

A little about us: Jeff loves bow hunting, fishing, competitive disc golf, basketball, woodworking, good food, and anything outdoors. Sara loves hiking, paddleboarding, rollerblading, reading, and sharing a great meal with Jeff. We love exploring, trying new things, and enjoying the simple everyday moments together.

We are also surrounded by wonderful family and friends who have become like family. We have a large, loving extended family, nieces and nephews we adore, and friends who continue to show up for us with love and encouragement. Our three dogs, Ralphie, Josie, and Leroy, bring plenty of laughter and personality to our home.

Why we are hoping to adopt: Adoption has been on Sara’s heart since high school. When we married, she shared that dream with Jeff, and he embraced it wholeheartedly. Over the past seven years, we have hoped and prayed for a child. While our journey hasn’t unfolded the way we expected, it has strengthened our faith and reminded us that family is built through love, not biology.

Our greatest hope is to provide a home filled with unconditional love, laughter, faith, encouragement, and unwavering support. We want a child to always know they are cherished, wonderfully made, and deeply loved.

We look forward to bedtime stories, family traditions, outdoor adventures, meals around the table, cozy nights on the couch, and all the simple moments that make a family feel like home.

We understand that adoption begins with an incredible act of love and courage from an expectant parent. If you are considering us, we want you to know how deeply honored and grateful we are. We hope to create something healthy and meaningful for your child and to honor their story.

With hopeful hearts,

Jeff & Sara
