Jennifer and Jeff

May 19, 2022

Hi There! We are Jennifer and Jeff.

Thank you so much for considering us and taking the time to read our letter and learn about us. While this must be a confusing stressful and difficult time for you, we can’t imagine what you are going through. We admire your courage, strength and love in choosing an open adoption plan for your baby. Our promise to you is that your baby will be loved unconditionally, raised in a happy, healthy and safe environment. Your baby will be given every opportunity to succeed in life, taught to love and respect everyone and love God with all their heart. We would be honored and blessed to welcome the two of you into our family. May you find peace and happiness on whatever path you choose.

We are a happy, kind fun loving couple who value family and faith above all else. We have been together since 2014 and married in 2017. As practicing Catholics, we put God and our faith at the center of our marriage and our lives. We have a daughter Cierra, playful German Shepherd named Fritzi and cat named Luna. Jeff is a kind, caring, patient, loyal man with a great sense of humor. Jeff enjoys baseball, fishing, hockey, and being a dad to Cierra.

Jennifer is a kind, compassionate, funny, loving mother and wife who always puts her family first. She enjoys being around family and friends and working as a nurse. Jennifer likes to travel, going to the lake, watching movies and the Tigers, ice skating and rollerblading.

Jennifer adopted Cierra during her previous marriage. Jennifer communicates with Cierra’s birth mother via pictures, text and Facebook per the birth mothers wishes. We understand that every situation is different and would be comfortable being as open as you would like to be. Cierra is a kind fun loving funny sweet respectful intelligent young lady with a big heart.

After getting married, we were very happy to start expanding our family. Unfortunately, we had a devastating loss when our baby was stillborn at 6 months of pregnancy. We tried again a year later and had a miscarriage. After much grieving and healing we are excited to follow this path with you and be blessed with the baby we have prayed for.

We live in a safe quiet suburb of Detroit, with community parks, festivals, walking trails, friends and family nearby. In our neighborhood we have a park with places to play volleyball picnic and a playscape. We also have a pond where the neighborhood kids like to go fishing. We get together with our families often and like to play cards, dice, and board games. We like to go on family vacations, movies, bowling, and family game nights. Thank you again for taking the time to learn about us. We would be so grateful to have the opportunity to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
