Hello! We are incredibly grateful that you are taking the time to learn about us. Our names are Lauren and Cali, and we are a deeply committed couple who are eager to grow our family. We have always felt drawn to adoption as Cali’s older brother and sister were adopted internationally.
We have been together for 10 years and our journey has been full of love, laughter, and mutual respect. We began dating in college where we both obtained our bachelor’s degrees. We can truly say we are each other’s best friend and find strength in our ability to communicate as a couple.
Lauren can be described as levelheaded, patient, and a bit of a nerd (she would argue Harry Potter is the best story written). Her interests lie in anything fitness related as she is a competitor at heart, which she channels by training for triathlons and marathons. When Lauren isn’t racing she works in sales for a large lumber manufacturing company.
Cali is high energy, playful, and loves deeply. When not spending time in Lake Huron, she can be found biking, working out, doing house projects, and watching her fair share of reality TV (big Bravo junkie). Arguably the most important fact about Cali is that she is an avid and die-hard Taylor Swift fan! Cali works remotely for a mortgage company in their servicing department.
We share a love for the outdoors no matter the season! We spend a great deal of time in Lake Huron boating, paddle boarding, swimming, or just enjoying the beach. We also enjoy traveling in our camper with friends and family. We are always looking forward to new adventures and creating more memories. We enjoy visiting National Parks, touring historic homes, and finding unique food spots.
