Hi! We’re Mike & Melissa.
Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We’d love the opportunity to tell you more about us and why we know we’ll be loving parents.
We first met in 2010 and have been together ever since. We are deeply in love and are also each other’s best friend. Over the years, we’ve built a strong foundation built upon trust, support, communication, and laughter. Being able to include your child as a part of our loving, happy, and laughter-filled home would be a dream come true.
Our dogs, Otto and Lola, are the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet! It’s been a joy to see how gently they interact with small children and how quickly they come to love everyone they meet. We just know they are going to love having a human sibling!
Our family and friends are so excited and supportive of our decision to adopt. If you entrust us with raising your child, not only can we promise to be loving parents, but your child will also gain a village of relatives and friends ready to help us and love your child.
We live in a wonderful city known for great schools and being very family oriented. We have many shared hobbies, including walking and snuggling with our dogs, cooking, baking, home improvement projects, spending time outdoors, traveling, and attending sporting events and concerts.
Our gratitude to you for considering us as parents for your child is indescribable. We understand this is a life-changing decision and not one you will take lightly. We want you to know we feel similarly. This decision will also change our lives forever, and for that, you will forever be so important and special in our lives. Above all else, if you trust us with this miraculous gift, we promise to always be loving and caring parents to your child. We promise we will love, encourage, and support your child for exactly who they are.
Your selflessness is recognized, and we want to do whatever we can to make this a positive and confident adoption experience for all of us. We want to be respectful of your comfort level throughout this journey, not only regarding your relationship with us but especially with your child. We want you to know we are approaching this journey with open-mindedness and love. We know you will always have a very special place in your child’s heart and we will nurture and encourage those feelings and that relationship forever. Every family has a unique story, and we hope to be able to create a beautiful family story that weaves us all together.
