We have a large group of friends, most from Nate’s childhood. We value their friendships and relationships, and are very loyal. Nate’s friends met their spouses around the same time we met. Many of our friends are couples who we often get together with for football games, lake days, and dinners. Our friends are a huge support and have become more like family. Our friends’ children have also been an important part of our lives. We have celebrated many births with our friends and enjoy watching their children grow.
Sarah has knowledge of early childhood development and cannot wait to celebrate milestones. Sarah is excited to support her own children’s development with the attention and care she gives to her students. Nate is a former football coach and is also excited to apply what he knows as a parent. As a teacher and coach, we are very aware of the importance of building authentic relationships.
Together, we enjoy playing games and completing puzzles. We value the time we get together, and like to spend that time being engaged with one another. We love the outdoors and are often playing catch in the backyard, going on walks with the dogs, and golfing. We are a “Football Family”! and watch the games as much as we can, Nate loves the Ravens and Sarah is a Chief’s fan. Although we may be a house divided when it comes to professional teams, we are both U of M fans, and have enjoyed watching the Lions make their comeback! We are very much looking forward to the days when they can share our love of fitness, the outdoors, and football with our child(ren).
