We’re Cali and Tyler, thanks for taking a moment to get to know us.
We live in southeast Michigan with our friendly dog, Tonks, we’ve been married for 12 years, and we both feel excited and strong in our commitment to grow our family through adoption.
Cali is a pediatrician at a local hospital, and she loves books and the outdoors. She is passionate about seeing each child and caring about them for who they are. She is ready to get to know the little person who comes into our life and help create a home that can support and build them up.
Tyler is a musician and craftsman with a background as a materials science engineer. For the past two years he’s been running a small audio equipment company that started with a design he patented. Being his own boss allows Tyler to keep a flexible schedule, and he is enthusiastic about becoming an available and engaged dad.
Together, we love traveling, especially anything that gets us outside like camping, canoeing, or visiting the beach. We also enjoy cooking and baking together, with the occasional kitchen dance party. We love our diverse neighborhood which has a park and elementary school close by. We often visit our friends and family, who are as excited as we are about welcoming a child through adoption.
Our story has led us to have respect for each person and their own unique journey through life. We are open to any child who may come into our family, ready to love them, see them, and support them for all of who they are.
