Hi! We are Darius, Whitney and Shiloh.
Welcome to a sneak peek of our lives!
Our story started when we were both college kids riding on the same charter bus headed to a college Christian conference in Atlanta. Years later, we reconnected at a friend’s surprise party & we’ve talked daily since then! We have been together for 8 years & married for almost 6!
We have one amazing son named Shiloh who is ready to take on his role as a big brother. He’s very loving, a ball of energy, and loves to tell jokes (a trickster as he likes to call himself).
Darius works as a manager of a Juvenile Correctional Facility. He values inspiring youth to change the path that they are on. Whitney has been a Registered Nurse for 10 years. She works from home as a Utilization Review Coordinator. Darius loves listening to music, gardening, playing with our dog, Napoleon, and spending time with his family.
Whitney loves enjoying an art fair with her mom, doing creative DIY projects, and enjoying dance parties & arts/crafts with Shiloh.
Together we love hosting our friends and Shiloh’s friends for different gatherings like water parties, bonfires, arts & crafts, Christmas parties and more!
We are blessed to have a village of close friends and family (the closest of friends & Whitney’s parents live just 5 minutes away) who we love to spend quality time with & have plenty of laughs with.
Our faith as Christians is important to us. We both attend church regularly and are involved in our outreach and young adult ministry.
It is our promise to make space for your child to know from the very beginning just how much we love them & how much we honor your love & sacrifice that you made for them. Adoption & their story will always be spoken about openly & freely in our home. We are dedicated to continually educating ourselves as parents to always support the complex
feelings that may come up for your child as an adoptee. We promise a childhood rooted in fun, warmth, love and intention.
