Hello there! We are Elle and David! Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and get to know us. Becoming parents is something we both have given thought to for several years. Adoption holds a special place in our hearts, as David, his brother, and his nephews are adopted. We are both very excited to grow our family and bring a child into our home.
We have been a couple since 2017, getting married in 2021. Currently, Elle is a Senior Director for a reputable property management firm, while David works in IT. When we are not working, we can be found on the bike trails, on our paddle boards, or at home working on various home improvement projects.
We started out as friends. We had the pleasure of knowing each other for years through a mutual friend. Our first date, on New Year’s Eve, holds a special place in our hearts.
Our relationship thrives on the balance created by our contrasting personalities. Elle is a self-proclaimed perfectionist who values planning and organization. She excels at paying attention to details and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. On the other hand, David has a carefree and relaxed demeanor, going with the flow and embracing the spontaneity of life. Together, our differences harmonize and complement each other, creating a dynamic and fulfilling partnership.
We surround ourselves with genuine love from family and friends, all of whom are overjoyed with us in our adoption journey. This baby will join the ranks of 6 cousins, acquire 2 aunts and 3 uncles, and very loving grandparents. Both sides of our family have extended family scattered across the country to make for memorable road trips!
The friends of our lives have been present for many of our milestones; the adoption process has been the biggest one yet, and we have gotten so much support. Our people hold a significant place in our lives. We treasure the relationships we have cultivated and believe in the importance of creating a loving and supportive community. Our family of friends will surround us with heaps of love.
For several years now, we have dreamed of raising a child in an environment where love, kindness, and compassion are at the core of our values. Our goal is to create a nurturing space where a child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to be their authentic selves.
