We are Dan and Josh, and we want to thank you for taking the time to learn about us, our quirks, and all the love we have to share!
We met while we were both living in Colorado and instantly bonded over our shared love of fantasy, reading, shared values, and all things nerdy. We love experiencing new things and exploring this world together. Whether it’s a Harry Potter themed proposal, dressing up for Renaissance faire, or staying home and playing board games, we seek the magic in life. Josh is a Senior Software Engineer and Dan is a Public Health Program Manager with a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. We are both lucky to be able to work from home.
In 2022 we bought a house and moved to Michigan near where Joshua grew up. Our home is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood close to the small downtown area. We enjoy walking downtown to the many restaurants, bookstore, and ice cream shop. It is a wonderful community that regularly has events for the whole family. The best part of our home is our two loving pets. Our cat, Archie, and dog, Balto, are both super sweet and social. Both are huge cuddle bugs and love nothing more than sleeping on or next to us!
Family is very important to us, and we are so lucky to be part of such a big, loving, blended, and chosen one. We believe that family is SO much more than genetics and that there is always room to add more people. Spending time with family was a huge part of our lives growing up and we want the same for our child. We have both always known that we wanted to be fathers and are very excited to be on the journey to make that happen.
We wanted you to know how much we admire your bravery and courage through this journey. We have so much love to give, and hope you can be a part of that, but above all, we will always honor your decision.
