Jon & Maggie – ADOPTED

Thank you for taking the time to view our profile and consider us as you think about making an adoption plan for your child. We are Jon and Maggie and are so excited to become parents and to welcome a child into our home and family! We both come from large, loving families that cannot wait to spoil our growing family with love. We have always known that our family will grow through adoption and we cannot express our gratitude enough to you for considering us to raise your child.

Our story started early — We were born in the same hospital only 13 days apart. Our families even lived on connecting streets! We never actually met growing up though as Maggie moved to another state an early age. Fate eventually intervened and we met in college several years later. After a few years of dating, we were married in the same church as both Jon’s parents and grandparents were married in.

Over those last 11 years we have lived in 3 states, worked in a fourth and been fortunate to travel the world. Through all of these moves and adventures our relationship and fur-family has only grown greater. We have three fur-babies, two cats named Stella and Sophie, and a dog named Sadie. We are excited to have our family continue to grow.

Maggie is a corporate lawyer for a global nonprofit health and safety organization. She loves working with others
around the world to help make the world a safer and healthier place. In her downtime she loves to bake cupcakes, visit with friends or family, travel, or just curl up with a book.

Jon is a structural engineer who specializes in bridges. He loves that he improves the community around him by helping build safer infrastructure. When he isn’t fixing bridges, he loves golfing or playing softball with his brother, trying out new restaurants, or spending time with friends and family.

We love to travel to new places and experience other cultures. There is rarely a week when we do not spend time with family as both of our parents and extended families live nearby. Both our families are excited to see our family grow through adoption.

We will devote our entire lives to raising your child to be safe, healthy, happy and most of all loved. Please know that we will love your child unconditionally. Your child will be surrounded by the love of us, our families and our community. We want your child to know where he or she came from and are very much open to an open adoption based on your comfort level.
