Missy and Andre – ADOPTED

Hello! We are Missy and Andre! Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and considering us as parents to your child. We have a lot of love to give and only hope for the opportunity to give it. We admire your courage and strength as you consider adoption for your child.

Our story started in high school but we never had the opportunity to know each other until we reconnected through social media in 2009. It wasn’t long before our relationship grew into so much more and we feel in love as well as became best friends.

We married in 2015 after several years of dating. Over the years we have been able to maintain steady careers, a healthy life style and a positive loving relationship. Hugs, kisses and saying I love you are definitely part of our everyday routine. We are excited to become parents and welcome a child into our home and family. We enjoy spending time together whether its attending a sporting event, playing Scrabble, traveling or just relaxing on the couch watching a movie. Entertaining our family and friends is something we enjoy doing and host various parties throughout the year and look forward to hosting the MI vs MSU rivalry football game. We have a twelve year old cat named Diggy that is very affectionate and loves to cuddle.

Missy is caring, funny and compassionate. She works for a mail order pharmacy as an insurance auditor and is fortunate to work remotely from home. Summertime is her favorite season and loves all outdoor activities: swimming, kayaking, gardening and traveling to new places. Andre is out going, kind and a person of free spirit. He spent eight years in the United States Army and is already a proud father of his young adult son Andre Jr. Andre works for the Michigan Medicine Health Care System as a Home Care Technician and enjoys helping his patients every day. In his spare time you can find him watching sports, spending time with his son or doing small home improvement projects around the house. He is excited to become a dad again and looks forward to co-parenting with Missy.

Family is important and comes first for us both. Most of our family lives close by and we love spending time together: birthdays, holidays, weekends and even just random dinners. We are fortunate to have the most caring and loving people in our lives that we get to call family. Both of us have close relationships with our parents, siblings and their families and they’re all excited to welcome a new member into the family.
